Fourty years ago this year, John Lennon and Yoko Ono held their famous Bed-In for Peace at Montreal’s Queen Elizabeth Hotel. To honour that anniversary and our city, PodCamp Montreal organisers got together in the same hotel suite to record their version of Give Peace a Chance. We hope you like our take on this classic. It highlights a dozen different reasons you should come to PodCamp in September.
Our thanks to our sponsor, Fairmont Hotels, for giving us access to Suite 1742 at the Queen Elizabeth, and for letting us move the mattress and furniture around to create our version of that magic moment 40 years ago.
Remember that Fairmont is offering PodCamp Montreal attendees a special rate for the weekend of September 19th and 20th. If you’re interested in walking the same hallways as John and Yoko, email PodCamp Montreal organising committee member Laurent Maisonnave at laurent@zelaurent.com for details.
Pssst… We’re working on a surprise for PodCamp Montreal attendees that involves the famous suite at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. It’s going to be great. Stay tuned.
S’que vous êtes con! J’aime ça!
Je dois préciser que le fabuleux travail d’édition vidéo est réalisé par Guillaume Marin, aka Rocklapin.
