PodCamp Montréal 2009 will be held on September 19th and 20th, at Pavillon de Design de l’UQAM.
PodCamp Montreal is a two-day podcasting and new media conference which is in its second edition this year. Last year’s inaugural event attracted 234 new media experts and aficionados from across Quebec, Canada and New England to Montreal. An additional 1266 unique visitors from around the world attended thanks to the event’s live stream. PodCamp Montreal is based on a model which has been successfully implemented in cities such as Toronto, Boston, New York, Chicago, Berlin and Perth.
Participants included new media enthusiasts and professionals specializing in blogging, podcasting, Facebook, YouTube and social networking.
PodCamp Montreal’s volunteer organizing committee includes some of Montreal’s top podcasting and social media specialists, including Sylvain Grand’Maison, Julien Smith, Mitch Joel, Bob Goyetche, Jean-François Blais, Laurent LaSalle, Laurent Maisonnave, Caroline Fontaine, Mélanie Millette, Harold Boeck and Michelle Sullivan.
PodCamp Montreal is a not-for-profit event.
