Scarborough Dude: hippie meets podcasting

Scarborough Dude
Ken has a one-of-a-kind persona in the podcasting community. Self-proclaimed “The great uncle of Canadian podcasting”, the Dude is old enough to have made all the trips of the 60′s. From Vancouver to Asia, from hippy to zen, he has lived enough adventures to fill an entire bookcase. And still, he’s young enough to have embraced podcasting back in 2005 and have published over 213 episodes to this day.

On Saturday, he’ll deliver a session called “Podcasting: Now & Zen”. He states that it will be “an erratic offering of quotes & images illustrating how an amateurish approach to Zen may (or may not) relate to podcasting & the enjoyment of life.”

The Scarborough Dude describes himself as “The host of the DicksnJanes podcast, spending too much of his time vainly trying to assimilate a life of wide ranging experiences into a coherent whole.” Prepare yourself to be entertained!

  1. The Dude is a great friend of the podcasting community in general and of PodCamp Montreal in particular – I’m thrilled that he’s coming down again this year and can’t wait to hear him speak. Always interesting.
